Do Anything BUT The Stanky Leg ... lol

I was so excited to see the Biggest Losers last night, shadow boxing! I think spurts of fun intertwined into routine "workouts" really help me stay motivated. I used to be quite mundane (walking outdoors & treadmill only) ... but now that I got my stick & move hustle up in the ring (via my Boxing Basics class) ... lol ... I look forward to it each week ... Almost forgetting that it's actually a WORKOUT ... and major calorie burnage is occurring ...

Dieting and exercise does NOT have to be boring ... and it should not feel like we are on punishment (shame on you for getting so big, now go sit in the corner - head down) ... I'm grown now, and I know that many decisions I make are based on what I WANT to do ... I think that's the best attitude when forging into a journey ... or a lifestyle change ... Diversification and discovering what suits your tastes, both figuratively & literally ...This summer I've signed up for an African Dance Class with my baba's church ... and can't wait for Spring to come so I can hit the tennis court ... I'll take that over an elliptical machine ANY DAY ...

My god-sis just chimed in that ... the "Do the Stanky Leg" dance ... is a good alternative workout too ... but IMO if you are 23 and ^ ... and get caught doing that dance ... I'd advise you to STOP ... immediately!!! ... lol ... and if your leg is "stanky" you probably shouldn't be dancing in the first place ... lol
