Sharing with US Weekly, the attention-craving reality star, Heidi Montag, claims to have worked out for 14 hours a day, over the last two months. As a result, she has shed 27 pounds. Umm ... The Biggest Loser contestants don't e'en workout that much! Motivated by a pool party invite and subsequent weight gain following recovery from 10 plastic surgeries, she says that her call time for exercise began at 5am and concluded at 7pm. Right. This is so unbelievable ... literally. And troubling, that such behavior would even be praised or seen as acceptable. Exercise addiction is real and is usually accompanied by disordered eating habits and/or body dysmorphic disorder. This boast also comes off as a shot to our intelligence as it appears to be physically impossible - for someone who is not an athlete.
"I've been working out really hard because I had this pool party and I was like, I have to be in shape," she told US Weekly. "And I was actually a lot overweight. It was the most I've ever been because I've kind of been in hiding eating pie with my husband and puppies, so I needed to get back in shape." I mean, her and equally-annoying husband Spencer Pratt, admitted to faking a divorce to stay relevant in the media. So, this could very well just be another tactic to get back on the scene after her knifed-up hiatus. She succeeded.
